The ultimate community supporter, Jose Espana works tirelessly to improve the lives of the clients he serves and the community they share. A family man and first-generation Mexican American, Jose is married to his high school sweetheart and is the father of three boys, knowing firsthand how important and impactful it is for a family to achieve homeownership. 

Remembering the confusion he experienced during his own mortgage process, he takes pride in educating borrowers and working alongside them to achieve a mortgage that they can feel secure and confident in. His understanding and compassionate approach takes the stress and anxiety out of the lending process.

Jose aims to set a positive example for those around him and motivate them to reach for dreams that may seem impossible. Becoming a branch manager in just a few years, he is now able to lead and support a team of mortgage experts, working together as a cohesive unit to reach their highest potential and further their shared mission: helping as many people as possible. His leadership has earned him the 20 Under 40 Young Professionals Award, a tribute to his ongoing success.

His dedication to the community extends outside of the office, where he coaches the Sparks High School soccer team. Known by many as Coach Chava, he is a beloved member of the community and was awarded the Elks Citizen of the Year Award in 2020 for his contributions. He also serves as Vice President of the Sparks High School Alumni Association and is a member of the Young Professionals Network. In his free time, Jose enjoys watching his boys play baseball and soccer, playing co-ed softball with his wife, and playing soccer himself when he’s not on the field coaching his team.
